We had initially hired their driver to take us to Casa Ellul from the airport, I believe it was 35 euros he was super interesting etc, however we took an uber back to the airport for less than half.Malta and its sister islands of Gozo & Comino, a Mediterranean archipelago, offer visitors an off-season Summer experience in the Fall months with a diverse range of festivals & events. We want to acknowledge Lourane and Remmiel at the front desk - they are both phenomenal people! We had an outgoing flight issue and they assisted us so much with phone calls etc - clearly an asset to this place. The bed was comfortable but they had those typical European hard foam pillows.some may like it though. The only other oddity (in our minds) was the eggs - I've never seen eggs with such a weird consistency and color.unsure what those tiny lumps were either. We think it's due to the drains that run along the wall, it smelled like a sewer so we kept the bathroom door shut the bathroom plumbing needs updating. The location is excellent for walking around, right in the heart of everything! The bathroom had a weird smell, especially after showering. This hotel was a very interesting place - the room was huge and the bathroom had a 'spa' setting.
